    Default Floating Wick Bay today Friday 24 Jan

    Just wondering If anyone else had seen the object floating in Wick Bay today - picture attached. I would not like to hit this with a small boat!

    Could part of boat but then again with all this wild weather it might been washed away from a harbour area but interesting picture.

    Yeah thats the North Cardinal mark. After the stationary one came apart from its post a few years ago it was replaced with a buoy which really can't withstand the weather the bay can recieve

    Inform the coast guard. It could be a danger to shipping as you mentioned.
    Avoid the Gates of Hell. Use Linux.

    A regular event the destruction of the flaggy seems Impossible to get anything to stay there. Break water was built there by the Stevenson family 150 yrs ago and they could not get It to stay there think It was their only failure as a lot of there lighthouses are still standing In sea likely as bad or worse than Wick bay. So If they could not do a permanent structure maybe no one can.
