    Default Restoring P.C.

I am trying to restore myy P.C. to an earlier date , but it is only showing back to 4 weeks. How can I set it to a date of choice ?

If it doesn't show dates earlier than 4 weeks then I doubt you'll be able to - the calendar usually highlights on which dates restore points were created, so if you can't go back any further I'd suggest that's your limit, although 90 days is the default time a system restore point remains available. There are a few possible reasons for this - some virus' have been known to delete restore points to protect themselves from being removed by that method, and only so much hard drive space is allocated to restore points so it's a case of first in first out.

Most modern PCs can restore back to factory settings if you want to go back that far, but you'd need to ensure any files you need to keep are backed up first if you take that route.
