    Default EEPROM Programmer?

Has anyone local got one of these, along with the software that can extract the dump code from a car stereo to obtain the security code? Been told that with my particular unit, the serial number alone is not enough to get the code, the dump code is required as well. The stereo in question is a Siemens VDO CDR 500 CD.

    Thanks,

    Kcb.

    Hi there.

Yeah, been on the above forum. They told someone else with the same radio to get the dump code, as the serial number is no use for this model. That's why I need somebody who has the device and relevant software to get the dump code for me. I can then go back to that forum and enter it and they will give me the code for free? I think the person that can get the dump code might be able to give me the code though, and won't need to go back to that forum for it?

Would your wilem board still be capable of doing it do you think?

    Cheers,

    Kcb.

    Hi.

I think it's a four digit code? From what I've gathered from other sites I've been on, it's 6 digits in total, but they all start with 10 _ _ _ _ so it would appear to be the last 4 digits that's required?

The serial number has 14 digits if that helps any?

    Thanks for your help,

    Kcb.

    not sure

    I know I've circled 139554
    and
    001801

as defaults in the cd600 notes from the 90's when I did them.

I also have 289 or 284 as defaults.

have to find my wilem board but I've still got it.

you can borrow it when I find it, as long as you can pop the eeprom out
    you can read it

wont be quick mind I've not seen it in about 2yrs.
