Police appeal for witnesses Wick police have appealed for witnesses following an attempted post office theft.The incident occurred at the Pulteneytown office shortly before midday.
The police are trying to trace a man in his late 50s to early 60s, between 5' 7 to 5' 10, of slim build with dark to grey thick wavy hair. He was said to be wearing light denim jeans, a light denim jacket and carrying a dark coloured purple or blue, waterproof jacket and a dark coloured possible navy holdall.
