Alleged to have told ex. to get a knife and kill herself
A YOUNG Thurso man is alleged to have caused a disturbance at the home of his ex partner, in the town and invited her to get a knife and kill herself.
Scott Tait, 22, appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour.
The charge accuses him of visiting Rebeccah Buchan in the early hours of yesterday, banging his head against a fence, staring into the property, in Murkle Terrace, Thurso, banging on the door, bedroom and kitchen windows and attempting to gain access.
Tait, of 5 Cruives House, Thurso, was granted bail with special conditions not to contact Ms Buchan or enter Murkle Terrace. His trial was fixed for March 6.
