Disorderly conduct alleged in Silver Darlings
Restaurant boss to stand trial at Wick early next year
THE boss of a Wick restaurant has been accused of allowing drunkenness and disorderly conduct on the premises.
Robert Sutherland, 30, of Westerlea, Miller Avenue, Wick, pleaded not guilty in a letter to Wick Sheriff Court today.
The charges alleges that he was responsible for the Silver Darlings, on August 24, when a patron conducted himself in an aggressive manner towards other patrons and pushed one of them who fell to the floor and was injured. The charge has been brought under the Licensing (Scotland) Act of 2005.
Sutherland's trial was fixed for January 23.
