    Question Buzzard

Today I saw a Buzzard at BT just outside Thurso, and it had a red tag in each wing with the letter F in white, it also had a metal ring on left leg. Does anyone know where it may have come from? I have seen Red kites with tags but not a Buzzard, thanks!

It appeared to be okay, we sat and watched it for a while and it appeared to be feeding on what we thought might be daddy long legs or learherjackets as it was hopping about catching something. It did fly briefly several feet.

I had it near my house last week. It was wing tagged and ringed in June as a chick at a nest in West Mainland Orkney. Buzzards can be seen often on the ground hunting for insects.
