I do a fair bit of editing for other people. Can anyone talk me through how to do that thing where you put a line from the word/prase that leads to a little box in which you can write your comments?
I have the latest version of microsoft word.

Hi Katarina,
You may have figured this out already, but if not here's how (assuming you're using Office/Word 2010 which is the latest version):
Highlight the area of text where you want to comment on. Click the Review tab at the top then click New Comment. That opens up a balloon pointing to the highlighted text you can leave your comment in. That's it!
