    Default A Happy Story...........

Some of you may remember that just over a year ago we adopted a puppy from KWK9 Rescue. It turned out that this puppy has quite a serious condition that the rescue didn't know about but when we found out and let them know they kindly agreed to sort out his vet bills for this condition. Originally the vets didn't give Dougal 3 weeks to live at 11 weeks old. We got him through this bad patch of his life and things have become routine as to what we need to do with him, though we still have good and bad days with regurgitation. Dougal has MegaEosophagus (spelling something like that!).
Back in June i filled in an entry form for Dougal to enter a competition run by Churchill Insurance, the advertised Prizes were a day at Doggy Bootcamp to train the dog in something he/she is lacking and also £200 Pets at Home Vouchers. Imagine our surprise that Dougal was one of 4 dogs picked by public vote from around 300 or so entries to be a winner!
Dougal has had his Doggy Bootcamp training including some fun with an agility course, and is now back home safe and sound and a little better on his recall now
Dougal and us have decided that as a thank you to KWK9 Rescue, we are donating all the vouchers to them as a thank you for what they do for us

thank you for reading and i hope you have a smile on your face now

Pictures are cracking, glad you all enjoyed your trip and training.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

It's great to hear how Dougal is doing. He's such a lucky pup. Great job tugs.
