Is there a Translation for this?

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

Apparently lifeboat was called to 2 shouts almost same time and same place. First was man and dog stuck down cliff Then angling boat with loss of power.

From Thurso Lifeboats own Facebook page, so they got their priorities spot on.

After a very quiet 2013 (so far) the crew found themselves on a double shout today!!
The crew were initially paged late this afternoon to a person who had became stuck on cliffs at Dunnet Head having gone down a geo to rescue their dog. On arrival at the scene the crew were then informed of a local sea angling vessel that had broken down and was sitting at anchor only half a mile from their present location.
A coastguard rope rescue team went onto to safely recover the person and their dog, whilst the Hebridean Warrior along with her passengers and crew had to wait a couple of hours at anchor until the lifeboat was stood down from the initial incident before being towed back to Scrabster Harbour.

Two rescues for the price of one!
After the first rescue was dealt with, they, dealt with the second and with no immediate danger to the crew on the second rescue they could deal with the problems one at a time.
Good nights work for them dealing with 2 incidents at once!

I wish people would get their facts correct before talking through a hole in their head about things they know nothing about,Thurso lifeboat was launched at 16.15 hrs to go to aid the coastguard cliff team to rescue a man and dog which had fallen in a geo at Dunnet Head.Nothing was known about any boat broken down at that time.

    Indeed.

The original post is a perfect exemplar of why this forum is worth reading
