Default Hiccup over school bus passes

Pupils without passes should still go to their bus stops.
ALL Highland pupils return to school tomorrow and Highland Council had intended to issue passes for school transport to all pupils who are entitled to free transport on Stagecoach services.
However, due to technical reasons not all passes have been issued. Parents and pupils are advised that anyone not yet in receipt of a pass should go to their bus stop as normal tomorrow. Staff from Stagecoach are aware of the situation and will pick up and drop off all entitled pupils, even if they are not carrying a pass card. Other bus providers are also aware of the problem and will not ask to see pass cards.
Parents who have paid for concessionary places will have received a letter to confirm receipt of their payment and this letter should be shown as proof of entitlement until the 30th August when named cards will be issued.
Anyone with any concerns or issues should contact the Transport Officer David Summers on 01463 252956.
