    It looks like Rubus spectabilis (Salmonberry).

    Many thanks I had never seen it before , see it has managed to naturalise here so the couple of pieces I acquired might just root!

    Thought I had seen something on the internet about Salmonberry being an invasive plant so did a quick search and came up with 2 relevant links for you.
