Thread: Photos of Stages

    Default Photos of Stages

I have been taking photos of bands playing on stage. I've tried several different settings with varying results. The problem is with the bright lights on stage, dark main hall, quick movement on stage.

What is the best setting to use?

Get a fast lens (expensive) also.

    Fast lenses aren't always expensive - you can get a 50mm 1.8 for £70.

Thanks to all for your replies. Will take a while to get up to the standard of Stuart Moffat, but I can try. Lots of good info to work on.
