Police issue warning to disqualified drivers who face fines and bans
THE Highland and Islands police division continue to receive information and intelligence about drivers who drive illegally when they have been disqualified or do not hold an appropriate licence.
These drivers are a danger to us all.
Chief Supt Julian Innes said; "The vast majority of drivers in this area are safe and considerate. This style has ensured that we continue to reduce collisions and make the roads safe for those that live, work and visit our area. If you are driving without a license then do not be surprised when the public tell us and you get caught. My message is straight forward €“ continue to drive whilst disqualified or without a license and you will be targeted and removed from the roads."
If you have information on disqualified drivers please phone 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
