Grass

Need to patch/re grow the grass in the back garden.
It has been ravaged by dogs and kids and is more mud than anything at the moment.
Any advice on a hard wearing lawn that can withstand kids and dogs and Caithness weather?
Slow growing once established would be a bonus

Go to geddes down by the river, they do grass seed, either lawn or park grass, I would think you are looking for parkland grass,
