    Red face Goldfinch

Just had a goldfinch visit my nut feeder - this is a first for me - was wondering how common\rare this sighting is?

We had a group of 6 males at the feeder one day and they gang up on the other birds - except the robins

Quite a population in Caithness, had up to 30 on the niger seed feeders and the ground below them in the winter.Great viewing.Siskins also love niger seeds.
