Pinkfeet geese have been arriving back in the county after being south for the past few months, so it may have been some of them. Or it may have been geese moving between feeding and roosting sites.

When driving home from Nairn on Monday, 8th Jan. I saw a flock of geese heading North. Isn't this very unusual and far too early?

I think some geese winter here and also some are local. I too see them from time to time during the winter.
