    Excellent! Each attempted cold call will

    a) Alienate potential voters
    b) Be forgotten by the time the Referendum happens
    c) Cost them money now that they'll need later.
    d) Provide comedy if you do decide to ask them anything about facts and figures.

    Have to say if the SNP are cold calling, I'm surprised...and a bit peeved that I haven't been contacted. Interesting though that this is the only place it shows up, in the first 20 pages of results on Google for SNP cold calling.

    There was a furore about cold-calling by all parties from about 2005 until before the Euros in 2008/2009....and I thought it had stopped.because they all got firmly wrapped on the knuckles and warned of penalties.

    Out of interest, what did they say?

    Caller had a lecture from me and finally admitted he wasn't a member (probably to shut me up) so presumably they're paying people. Enjoyed myself
