Iphone has white screen

help, just turned my iphone on and screen is white, hasn't been dropped or anything and can t switch it off??????

Try holding the power button and home button simultaneously for about 10 seconds, it's usually a software bug.

I have fixed afew iphones and in my view this is the ribbon cable on the main board under the screen!

if you do explore be very careful as these cables are a pain and worse are the plug clamps that house them(very brittle)

Id say its the cable but good luck anyway (you can buy tools for taking it apart on ebay but go slow and very carefull as the lcd is brittle too and same goes with the touchscreen over the top of the lcd)
