Additional case from last week's court
Ban me for life pleads driver
A DRINKS driver has been banned for life...at his own request.
Disabled Roy Barber, of Bignold Court, Wick, who has a previous record, was said to be conscious of the potential dangers of him driving with excess alcohol.
The 58-year-old was also fined £400. His latest conviction followed being caught by police in the Tesco carpark at Wick, on February 12. Tests revealed a breath-alcohol level of 64 mgs. The limit is 35mgs.
