Village nets more than £41,000 for multi-use complex

A NEW community project in Keiss has been given a £41,600 boost.
The cash, from the Big Lottery Fund, will allow the local committee behind the family community project, to develop an all-weather outdoor multi-use games area, on a waste ground site.
The complex will be used for play and keeping fit and will not only benefit Keiss but the surrounding east coast villages.
It’s the second major project to have been undertaken by the community. A replacement play area for youngsters established last year has proved extremely popular.
