Denies kicking and punching and kneeing victim

A THURSO man is alleged to have assaulted the same person twice, in the town.
The accused, Kevin Angus, 32, pleaded not guilty to two charges when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court, today.
Charge one alleges that he knocked Thomas Deas down, and repeatedly punched him on the head, at Thurso's Skinandi’s nightclub on Saturday; the second charge accuses him of again assaulting Mr Deas, in Sir George’s Square, Thurso, kicking him, and repeatedly punching and kneeing him on his head and body, to his injury.
Angus, of 14 Trostan Terrace, Thurso, was granted bail and will return to court for his trial on May 16.
