Hi annemarie482,
The best I have seen from the recent clear nights. caused by the large area of high pressure sitting over North Scotland.
Did you use a panorama shot or have you got a wide angle lens.

Thanks ak, I actually took it with a Nikon coolpix l810, no extra lens, just the preset sunset setting then fine tuned on iPhoto on the MacBook
