Fined and ordered to pay compensation

A WICK man has been banned from a local pub after admitting an assault there.
Daniel Curry pleaded guilty when he appeared from custody at the town’s sheriff court today. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay his victim, Daniel Johnston compensation of £200.
In the incident, at the Alexander Bain Bar, on Sunday, Curry of Leishman Avenue, Wick pushed Mr Johnston causing him to fall.
The accused's ban from the pub will cover a two-year period.
