    Default Help wanted with Router

    Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me.

    I have just bought a laptop and know very little about them. I want to get the internet connected to the laptop. I have a main PC in the living room but want to be able to connect to the internet when I am upstairs. Can anyone help me on what I need and how to go about getting it.

    when we got a laptop which we use upstairs we got an extra phone line box put in upstair so we didnt have a line going from down to upstair. Bt done it for us but quite costly at £100 for extra box fitted. You could probably buy an extra box from electrical store and fit it yourself or get someone in to do it which may work out cheaper
