PARENTS and guardians of children are being informed by Highland Council that it’s time for enrolment into pre-school and primary school in the Highlands.
The next school session starts on 14 August. All children who will be five on or before 28 February 2014 are eligible to be enrolled for Primary 1. Enrolment will take place in the week commencing 28 January.
Enrolment will take place at local primary schools at 3pm each day from 28 January to 1 February 2013.
All children born between 1 March 2009 and 28 February 2011 are entitled to a funded pre-school place during the session 2013/2014. Enrolments will be accepted during the week commencing 4 February 2013 for all pre-school funded places.
Parents wishing to enrol their child / children for a place can contact their local primary school, playgroup or nursery for information on registered centres in their area and the enrolments procedures.
