Thread: Dead Seabirds

    Question Dead Seabirds

I have noticed several articles informing of dead shags along the Moray/Aberdeen coastline over the last few days.
I have been out several times along the beaches but it is not something I have seen on the Caithness coast.
Has anyone come across these seabird wrecks?

Walked Reiss Beach New Years Day saw nothing unusual apart from tons of seaweed stacking up, also there were lots of Fish egg balls and a few unopened Scalops.

Great thanks for your response Seabird, always good to know negative results.
The seaweed mounds were very impressive along Reiss.
