Camera thief in court
Polish man was seen acting suspiciously court told
AN interpreter from Inverness was called in to assist in a case involving a Polish national who stole a camera from a shop in Thurso.
Bartosz Kucinski, 34, pleaded guilty to the theft when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court today.
The court was told that he was seen acting suspiciously in Sutherland’s Pharmacy, yesterday, and, when searched, was found to have the JVC Action Camera worth almost £270.
Kucinski, a first offender, of 127A Poplars Avenue, Warrington, had sentence deferred for six months, to allow him to demonstrate he can behave. He was banned from entering Caithness during that time.
