    Default woodpecker sighting

    For the last 2 days we have had what we think was a great spotted woodpecker at our bird feeders, not a usual visitor, are they common up here in Caithness?

    I was surprised to find a dead greater spotted woodpecker at Keiss, this week.

    One came to my feeder this morning. We see them most years about this time.
