Thurso driver clocked at 94mph at Navidale

A THURSO driver whose speed reached 94mph on the A9 fined £300 at Dornoch Sheriff Court yesterday.
David Macdonald (42) admitted the offence committed at Navidale on July 24.
The speed was clocked on a police hand-held laser at around 10.15am.
Macdonald, of 7 Braemore Place, Thurso represented himself and told the court: “I just got caught up in the good weather and the clear roads and my speed just crept up”.
