Accused of break-in on Ormlie Industrial Estate
CAITHNESS man David Crouden has been accused of breaking into a baker's premises on Thurso's Ormlie industrial estate, on Monday and stealing several items of equipment.
He denied the charge when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday, and also pleaded not guilty to being in the area of the building, owned by local firm, Reids, under suspicious circumstances.
Crouden, 27, of Flat 6, Fairview House, Halkirk, was granted bail with a curfew condition, and will stand trial on January 22.
Drugs allegations
A WICK man is to stand trial on two drugs charges.
David Stubbings, of 53 Murchison Street, Wick, denied the allegations when he appeared from custody.
These allege that he had cannabis resin and diazepam in his possession in Murchison Street, on Tuesday.
He was granted bail and will return to court for his trial on January 22.
