Fantastic fridge has a n-ice royal record

ELECTRICAL applicances don’t last for ever...
But the fridge at the Queen Mother’s former home, the Castle of Mey looks as if might celebrate its jubilee.
The Frigidaire, manufactured by General Motors, was purchased by her Majesty in 1954, two years after Her Majesty purchased the Castle...and is still in perfect working order.
No-one at the Castle, now operated as a trust, can remember it having any problems. An electrician is due to give it the once over, soon but there's no reason to suppose it won’t pass the service with flying colours.
It must be the oldest working fridge in Britain...unless you know different and want to contact the forum!
