Detention for teen who breached orders
New orders would be "a complete waste of time and effort" said sheriff
A WICK teenager has been sentenced to three months detention after admitted breaches of community payback and community sentence orders.
Andrew Harper, of Girnigoe Street, Wick, appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court today. Sheriff Andrew Berry told him that ordering fresh orders would be "a complete waste of time and effort". The sentence was backdated which means that the accused will be released shortly.
Sheriff Berry added: "Consider yourself very lucky".
Harper (19) who said he intended starting a new life in Inverness, will continue serving one of the existing community service orders and his progress will be reviewed in four weeks time.
