Accused twice swore at police officer court told

A WICK man, who caused a disturbance in a police car and after he arrived at the local police station, was fined 400 at the town’s sheriff court yesterday.

Mark Munro, 26, pleaded guilty to abusive behaviour, earlier yesterday when he appeared from custody, and admitted a record. Munro, of 37a Nicolson Street, Wick, was said to have sworn at Constable Stephen George and called him an offensive name.
The accused denied a similar offence in High Street, Wick, and the plea was accepted by senior fiscal depute, David Barclay.
