Fined for offensive behaviour
Accused twice swore at police officer court told
A WICK man, who caused a disturbance in a police car and after he arrived at the local police station, was fined £400 at the town’s sheriff court yesterday.
Mark Munro, 26, pleaded guilty to abusive behaviour, earlier yesterday when he appeared from custody, and admitted a record. Munro, of 37a Nicolson Street, Wick, was said to have sworn at Constable Stephen George and called him an offensive name.
The accused denied a similar offence in High Street, Wick, and the plea was accepted by senior fiscal depute, David Barclay.
