Great pics MPH - well worth staying up late to enjoy the view
Cracking shots MPH - i enjoyed the eve and got some some pics that I'm real chuffed with - best I've managed so far. Thanks for the tips from you and Astroman.
Fab photos, the top one is my favourite, it was a beautiful night.
Away with the birds
Cheers John, the conditions were great if a little breezy, and was surprised just how dark the skies were.Glad you got a few good shots.
Thanks Kas,will take a bit of beating to get a better nights viewing.Maybe an aurora storm would top it.
A brilliant night.Full credit to you for the composition of the first shot.
Many thanks MPH.
Just sorry that we were n't there but us owld yins need our ugly sleep, great set of pictures MPH
I might have had the idea (they don't come often!), but the execution was expertly done by yourself, so my part was a small one. Seeing how well you got it to turn out I might give it a try as a portrait star trails shot next time, but I will have to avoid flat camera batteries part way through the session next time
Thanks for agreeing to Caithness Astronomy Group using the pic on its website homepage.
beautiful pics mph
