Default Missing butterflies and rampant slugs

Is it just me, or has there been a distinct lack of butterflys around this year?

Also seems to be an awful lot of slugs about, am assuming butterflys don't like the rain but the slugs seem to love it.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Must be you, butterflies have appeared in droves with the warmer weather but must admit there's some 'orrible, huge black slugs about, fortunately not in the garden.
