Victims struck repeatedly on head and body court told

A THURSO man carried out a hammer attack on two people, a north court heard yesterday. (Friday)
Jason James Reilly admitted on indictment, at Wick Sheriff Court, having struck Lee Mackenzie and Catherine Davis at their home at St John’s House, Thurso, repeatedly, on the head and body with the hammer.
Reilly (25) also pleaded guilty to two additional charges firstly of attempting to assault Andrew Sutherland with the hammer, after forcing his way into his home in Brownhill Road, Thurso.
Later the same day, the accused, whose address was given as Inverness Prison, punched and kicked Liam Henderson, of Trostan Road, Thurso, in the town’s Naver Park.
Reilly, who has a record, was further remanded, pending a second appearance, on August 10, when Sheriff Andrew Berry will hear details of the incidents all of which occurred on May 4.
