Thread: Phone Storage

    Default Phone Storage

I have a HTC Wildfire S. It is running low on storage (I have a few apps on it, but would like some more).

Does anyone know if a simple case of buying a bigger microSD card (only have 2gb now) would do the job? Can all apps (such as Facebook, Twitter) be transferred to the sd card?

So long as you get the right specification of microSD card & the Wildfire S can handle the capacity (up to 32Gb I believe) then you should be able to copy the contents of the 2Gb card across to the new one, plug it in to the phone and it should be fine. I'd recommend changing card when the phone is off, rathern than hot-swapping, and also that you copy the contents, rather than move them - that way you can simply reinsert the 2gb card if it doesn't work for any reason.
