My grandmother was Roseanna Pieraccini nee Bremner. her father was Rose Bremner (crew member on a herring drifter, the "lottie", b 1876 or so) and her mother was CAtherine Gunn (b 1876, father Donald Gunn and mother may have been isabella bruce) , looking for any ancestral information about them; all information gratefully received!!

That's very helpful, thanks! I have now certificates that show Rose Bremner (joiner) b 30.4.1807; parents Benjamin Bremner and Helen Nicol married 20.11.1794. But I havent been able to confirm when he was born and ancestry before that; he could have been one of 3 Benjamin Bremner born either on 2/8/1761, 30/01/1763, or 30/01/1763. Also looking for a common link to well known Civil Engineer james Bremner born 25/9/1784, who rebuilt the old harbour at pultneytown

Useful website
Have you looked at www.brebner.com?
There are lots of family trees there, of various Brebner / Bremner lines in Caithness, including the engineer Bremner you mention.
William Bremner, b~1849, son of Rose and Janet, married into my family, so have a bit of info on him if you need it.
