Does anyone know of a cheap, preferably free, sound conversion program, for converting an audio book which is in .aa file format to MP3, or wav file
Michael Stone is innocent.
Convicted without any forensic evidence and failed to be picked at any ID parade

AA sounds like an Audible format? you have two options basically:
- Follow this guide - http://stream-recorder.com/forum/gui...10-t10196.html - it will apply to any version of Windows, not just 7.
- Burn it to CD using iTunes, then rip the CDs to WAV files and convert the WAV files to MP3, FLAC or OGG.
I use a variation of method 2 but with a Virtual CD burner in sound file mode to skip a bunch of steps. If it's in the new Audible format then you'll have to use method 2 or change the format on your account as method one only works on formats 2, 3 and 4.
