    Is there anywhere that does house signs (say in Caithness Slate?) It is for a gift, so looking for something special.

    Caithness Stone industries on the causewaymire just before Spittal will make you a name plate. Alternatively I got mine made from Serendipity in Thurso and am very pleased wit it.
