Player commitments will "sustain long term future" says secretary

WICK ACADEMY has consolidated its team strength with the signing of seven players on long term professional contracts.

This means that the services of the entire team have been secured which a delighted secretary, Alan Farquhar, says will “sustain the long term future of the club”.
Four players, Grant Steven, Michael Steven, Ross Allan and Stewart Ross have signed long term professional contracts after previously been engaged on an amateur basis. A further three, Alan Farquhar, Richard Macadie and Steven Cunningham, signed extended long term contracts.
Mr Farquhar said that the club felt that the signings illustrate that Wick Academy F.C. are “fully supportive” of manager Davie Kirkwood, and his management team of Richard Hughes, and Rab Mulheron in their attempts to generate success.
