Police worried about missing Thurso resident

POLICE are increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of missing Thurso man Stephen McGurk, aged 38.
Police are continuing their enquiries today. The police dog section carried out searches around the Thurso area yesterday and possible sightings have been followed up. One line of enquiry is that he may have travelled to Glasgow.
Stephen McGurk, who is from Glasgow and resides in Thurso, was last seen on Sunday afternoon, in Thurso. He was wearing a dark blue or grey baseball cap, black adidas rain jacket with 3 stripes on the shoulder, dark blue jeans and brown boots.
Northern Constabulary often successfully uses Facebook to appeal for missing people. So far the facebook appeal for sightings of Stephen has received 173 shares. www.facebook.com/northern.constabulary
Chief Inspector Matthew Reiss said: "We are anxious to trace Mr McGurk and I am grateful for the help of the public we have received so far. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Stephen McGurk, they are urged to contact police on 01955 603551."
