    Hello! I have just bought a P4 2.4gHz AMD processor and motherboard with 768Mb RAM. It is 2nd hand, and has already been put together in another machine, will there be any problems with removing my processor etc in a plug and play fashion?

    Slight contradiction firstly Willz - you say you've bought a "P4 2.4GHz AMD" but there's no such beast! You've either bought an Intel P4 2.4GHz or possibly an AMD Athlon XP 2400+!!! Could you clarify.

    Other than that I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Do you want to remove the above processor from it's motherboard? Do you want to put a different processor in it's place?
