    Been seeing some great views of Orion, thanks for sharing , don't have the equipment to get such pics here.

    Cracking shot MPH - shows up the distinctly different colour of Betelgeuse well. I presume it was a tracked long exposure to get the stars and nebula to stand out so brightly?

    There were nice clear skies in Inverness over the weekend, but light pollution meant only the brighter stars were visible - nowhere near as many as your photo has captured.

    Yes,its a 90 second exposure,was hoping to get a hours worth of 2 and 3 minute exposures but the cloud won.
