    Default january gardening

as a fairly new but keen gardener (4-5 years now) i was wondering what i can be doing in the garden (when its not frozen solid obviously lol)

is there anything that can be planted in jan? is there anything i should be doing to existing plants?

i took a walk around today, and was happy to see most my plants have survived the winds and ice and are showing signs of new growth
    Everyone is a genius,
but if you judge a fish
on its ability to climb a tree,
it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.....
