    Hi Bcsman,
    When and where was your picture taken? We live in Staxigoe and keep hoping to see the lights but nothing yet after 5 years!! Brilliant photo by the way!

    i took this picture last night(22/1/2012)
    there should be aurora coming on the 24/25 Jan so hopefully we will have clear nights to see them

    Beautiful arc aurora,i missed most of it,sound asleep on the couch after work.Didnt mean to sleep for 2 hours.
    Got a lot more cloud than aurora

    Other options are to keep a close eye on activity via www.gi.alaska.edu/AuroraForecast/Europe/ , www.auroraspy.co.uk & my favourite www.spaceweather.com
