    Default HP DV 9000 series problem

    Need someone who can tell me if my HP DV 9000 series laptop can be fixed. Has a design fault and the issue is the graphics chip gets too hot and comes away from the motherboard. Was told it would be more expensive to fix it than buying a new one ...
