Does anyone have any experience (or knowledge) of converting a VGA output to a CRT TV via either scart or s-video?
I have an old PC that I want to hook up to an old CRT style TV for the purposes of watching iPlayer, playing old games etc.
I've seen converter boxes that seem to be about £50-70 but also simple cables that appear to do the same or similar for around £10-20.
Any help will be much appreciated.

The card I have has an HDMI output and 2 VGA. Its a ATI something (HD4xxx I think) that I bought for an emergency repair and then replaced with a decent card when I had more cash.
So I reckon its good enough to watch streaming media and check a few auctions in WoW.
I'll give a conversion lead a try on pay day and report back, nice cheap way of getting a basic media centre PC if it works.
